SubaruGirlie: "Lexi 2.5"

This month SubaruGirlies.com visits Lexi of St. Louis, MO and her 1999 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT. Aside from being a Subaru enthusiast and a member of the local Subaru "crowd", Lexi is also now a member of the SubaruGirlies.com forums!

- Lexi, what made you decide on purchasing your Legacy? Why not some other car model?
"My Subaru was a gift. After I blew up my Volvo (whoops!)  I needed a new car. My mom helped me look, and picked me up in the car as a surprise!."

- Tell us a little about the modifications you've done to your car.
"She's all stock, except for my Rally Piggy. Hopefully I will eventually add a stiffer suspension, skid plate, etc. for more off-roading"

- What are your future plans for your Legacy?
"Fix my front bumper!  As well as get more rally/off-road parts on her so she can get dirty, safely. I've (as of lately) been toying with the dream of maybe becoming a driver/co-driver, so maybe if I set my mind to it, I can compete in local rallycross events...."

- Tell us a little bit more about yourself? Hobbies? Non Subaru Interests?
"I am into photography, but that's sort of a profession for me, as well as Reading, Traveling, Subies, Rally, and other Auto events.  I sometimes attend CCCA (Classic Car Club of America) with my grandfather, who is the root of my car enthusiasm."

- Do you have a humorous or unique Subaru related story you'd like to share?
"Most of my adventures involve meets with my local forum, and always being the only girl with a Subie there. I think the most memorable one was the picnic we had in the snow back in Dec. '07. We met at a park, with plenty of snow on the ground still.  We happened to pass by a completely untouched GRAVEL parking lot.  It called to us. That day I learned how to properly do AWD donuts!  A couple of those guys have taught me a lot, and I've become close with a select few."

"Nothing but good has come from owning my Subie, and I hope more good is to come. - Lexi"
